A Little Story about how I got here

Welcome to Billi Kay Designs N Candles. My name is Noreen and I am the owner.  I was born and raised in New Jersey.  I moved to the west coast of Florida in 2010 with my husband and our 2 daughters.  Several years later we adopted our 3^rd daughter.  We are now a party of 5. Our family also have 2 dogs and 2 cats too. 

I have always loved making things for others.  I have done a million kid’s crafts with my girls.  Since, I can remember I was always making a floral arrangement, decorating the house for the holiday, or making unique favors for a special occasion. So, when I started making candles it was no surprise to me how much I would fall in love with it. 

I have always been that candle person that went to big name stores when the candles where on sale or the candle parties my friends had at their home.  I love burning candles and making my space feel warm & cozy.  I just never knew how bad those candles were for me.  I found myself having a lot of time on my hands since the girls are now teenagers.  I turned 50 and I wanted to do something with my life. I have always worked a full-time job.  I am still working full time plus now I have candle business too.

I love creating scented candles. When I smell some of them it brings me back to the past and happy memories.  I believe that your candles should be toxin-free.  This is why I use all-natural soy wax, cotton wick (lead-free) and clean fragrance oils for all our products.  Every hand-poured candle, wax melt, and room & linen spray has NO parabens, sulfates, phthalates and is cruelty free.  I believe that you should be able to afford a product that will make your home, office or space smell amazing and bring you joy.
